I recently discovered a great way to get that gooey sticky residue left from sap or sticky labels off things…

My boys love climbing trees!  It is inevitable that several times a year they come in with hands covered in sap.  It is frustrating to me and annoying to them when it won’t wash off.  For a long time I just told them that they had to deal with it…until I tried using lemon essential oil.  Now a couple of drops is all it takes to rid their hands of that sticky mess.  The best part is that it is all natural!  So I can feel good about using it on my boys and around the house.

It also works great for removing labels from jars or price tags from glass or ceramic items.   I love that I have found an easy way to remove labels from cute store bought jars!  Now I have a plethora of adorable jars that can be reused around the house.  Just one more way to do something good for the Earth!
