In the last few years I have become slightly obsessed with tea. I have a drawer in my kitchen dedicated to teas and each serves a different purpose. Here are a few of my favorites….

Tea to Satisfy a Craving
Good Earth Sweet & Spicy– While cutting sugar from my diet a dear friend introduced me to this amazing tea. It is a caffeine free Rooibos red tea and it truly is “sweet and spicy.” It was a great substitute for my after dinner dessert. I believe there is a caffeinated version as well.
Teas to Relax and/or Sleep
Teamotions Seek Peace– A loose leaf Rooibos Coconut Chai. Great for helping you to relax and unwind. It is also great to help satisfy a craving for something sweet.
“Restore inner peace and encourage emotional release with healing milk thistle and freeing dandelion root blended with smooth rooibos, bold chai spices and creamy coconut.”
Sleepytime Vanilla-Delicious and available at almost all grocery stores.
Tea for Wellness
Traditional Medicinals Echinacea Plus-If you feel that tickle in the back of your throat and it seems sickness is looming over you, consider turning to this tea. It may be partly placebo effect but I swear this really helps when I feel like there is some sort of illness knocking at my door. Drink plenty of this tea, stay hydrated and head to bed early. It may not cure you but it sure can’t hurt. I would also suggest lowering your sugar intake. Don’t give those little germs what they need to grow and flourish!
